Spicy Zottarella steaks

Ingredients for 2 people
2 pork tenderloin steaks (150 g each)
Salt, pepper
Hot paprika powder
2 tbsp. sunflower oil
1 package (125 g) of Zottarella Ball Classic
2 tomatoes
2 jalapeño peppers
2 garlic cloves
1 sprig each of basil and parsley
1 sprig each of rosemary, sage and thyme
1 tsp. sambal oelek
2 tsp. zingara sauce
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heating.
  2. Wash the steaks, dab dry and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Heat oil in an oven-proof pan, fry the steaks on each side for about 5 min.
  3. Drain and slice the Zottarella Ball. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems and slice. Wash the jalapeño peppers, cut in half, remove the seeds and white inner skin and chop. Peel and slice the garlic. Wash the herbs, shake dry and chop the leaves and needles.
  4. Coat the steaks with sambal oelek and zingara sauce and top with garlic. Place the tomato and Zottarella slices alternating onto the steaks. Bake in the oven for about 5-8 min. Sprinkle with jalapeños and herbs.
