Ingredients for 4 people
1 package (250 g) of Zottarella Roll Basil
6 mushrooms
4 tbsp. sunflower oil
2 tbsp. crème fraîche
Salt, pepper
4 sirloin pork steaks (160 g each)
4 slices of cooked ham
2 eggs
Wheat flour and breadcrumbs for breading
  1. Drain the Zottarella Roll and cut into thin slices. Clean and dice the mushrooms. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms for about 1-2 min. Pour out any exuding liquid. Mix the mushrooms with crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Wash the steaks, dab dry and pound. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Top with a slice of ham, then distribute the diced mushrooms and Zottarella slices on top. Fold the meat together and secure with a wooden skewer.
  3. Whisk the eggs. First roll the Zotton bleus in flour, then dip them in the eggs and finally roll them in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the rest of the oil in a pan and fry the Zotton bleus on both sides for about 10-15 min.
