Ingredients for 4 people
Pizza dough
500 g wheat flour
1 level tsp. salt
6 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cube (21 g) yeast
1 large pinch of sugar
400 ml lukewarm water
Wheat flour to work with
Olive oil for the sheet
Topping
2 sprigs of basil
2 sprigs of oregano
1/4 bunch of arugula
1 package (250 g) of Zottarella Roll Classic
12 slices of prosciutto
400 ml puréed tomatoes
Salt, pepper
  1. To make the pizza dough knead together all the listed ingredients until smooth. Cover with a moist kitchen towel and place in a warm area for about 60 min. until it has grown visibly.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 225 °C with top and bottom heating.
  3. For the topping, wash the herbs, shake dry and chop the leaves. Wash and dry the arugula. Drain and slice the Zottarella Roll. Cut the prosciutto in half. Season the puréed tomatoes with herbs, salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 portions and thinly roll each one out into thin rounds about 28 cm in size on a floured work surface. Spread tomato sauce on each and top with Zottarella slices. Place one after the other on an oiled baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 12-15 min. Top with prosciutto, scatter arugula on top and serve hot right away.
